At its meeting today, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, chaired by His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the Council of Ministers approved a draft decree establishing a public higher education institution called the “Higher Institute of Industrial Engineering” and setting out the rules governing its organization and operation.
The draft decree is part of the government's efforts to strengthen and develop the higher education system in our country through the creation of a new educational institution specializing in industrial engineering studies, which aims to fill a noticeable gap in the training of senior executives in the industrial sector.
