Conference | Meeting the Challenge of Pedagogical and Digital Transformation in
Higher Education
On 4 and 5
November 2026 in Nouakchott, the Mauritanian Ministry of Higher Education and
Scientific Research, through the National Centre for University Pedagogy (CNPU),
in partnership with the University of Caen Normandy, its University Multimedia
Education Centre (CEMU), the ESO Research Laboratory, and the Cooperation and
Cultural Action Service (SCAC) of the French Embassy in Mauritania, is
organizing an international conference dedicated to the challenges of
pedagogical and digital transformation in higher education.
This
scientific gathering will bring together researchers, academics, and
institutional stakeholders to provide an overview of current digital teaching
practices, learning environments, and innovative training approaches in higher
education.
Two days to
examine the conditions, approaches, and effects of the pedagogical and digital
transformation of higher education, through cross-disciplinary perspectives
combining research, university practices, and public policies.
