International Conference: Meeting the Challenge of Pedagogical and Digital Transformation in Higher Education
On November 4 and 5, 2026, in Nouakchott, the Mauritanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, through the National Center for University Pedagogy (CNPU), in partnership with the University of Caen Normandy, its University Multimedia Teaching Center (CEMU), the ESO laboratory, and the Cooperation and Cultural Action Service (SCAC) of the French Embassy in Mauritania, is organizing an international conference dedicated to the challenges of pedagogical and digital transformation in higher education. The creation of the CNPU, a project supported by the French Embassy in Mauritania through the Équipe France Funds from the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, marks a major step in supporting the pedagogical transformation of higher education in Mauritania, addressing the growing student numbers, technological developments, and increasing demands for quality training.
This event is part of this project and will bring together researchers, practitioners, and institutional actors around a common goal: to share research work, experiences, highlight educational innovations, and help build a community of stakeholders engaged in modernizing higher education.
📢 The call for papers is open from June 10 to July 15, 2026!
